Experiences Before & After the Exhibit

Our experience before the exhibit involved a lot of nervousness while preparing our booth. We were worried that our booth wouldn't look nice due to limited props. Some of us were not at home, making it difficult to access tools needed to build a strong foundation for our artwork. We needed a sturdy structure to support the weight of our pieces, like those on tarpaulin. Fortunately, some outside people helped us access the materials needed to create a nice and neat booth for the exhibit.
During the exhibit, we were glad that everything went well, from preparing to explaining our artwork, title, and theme. We observed the panelists and our classmates as they prepared their booths, noting their expressions and happiness throughout the exhibit.
After the exhibit, everyone felt relieved. The exhibit had gone well despite some of us not having enough time or materials to prepare. Thanks to our creativity and dedication, we managed to create our booths. After dismantling our booth, everyone was cheering with joy and relief.

The activity engaged BSEE 1A students in a collaborative drawing session. Each student took turns adding their artistic flair to a shared canvas, passing it along to the next person. As the canvas circulated among the students, it evolved into a collective artwork, reflecting the creativity and diverse perspectives of the group. Read More ».

Pop Art

Pop art emerged in the 1950s as a response to the consumerism and mass media of post-war society. It celebrated everyday objects and popular culture icons through bold colors, sharp lines, and techniques borrowed from advertising and commercial art. Characterized by irony, humor, and a rejection of traditional artistic norms, pop art challenged notions of high and low culture while critiquing the materialism of contemporary society.
